The Monthly Parable Series:

New Cloth on an Old Garment.
Matthew 9:16
Mark 2:21
Luke 5:36
"No man also sews a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up takes away from the old, and the rent is made worse."

The Lord is illustrating by this parable that the New Covenant and the mechanism of the giving of his Holy Spirit to new believers, could not be sewn over the rent in the old covenant.
